Dear PADS Customer,
You are receiving this email because you have recently downloaded the PADS 9.4 release from SupportNet.
A critical defect has been identified in the release - DR 873769. If you do not have the Advanced Rules Set (ARS) option, the system will crash if you attempt to open the Padstack dialog in the Decal Editor.
If you have ARS, this defect will not affect you.
If you do not have ARS, we strongly recommend that you uninstall PADS 9.4 and revert to PADS 9.3.1 (or your previous version) to continue your work. For any PCB designs saved in PADS 9.4 format, please ASCII export the design to PADS 9.3 format first.
A version of PADS with this defect fixed is expected to be available on SupportNet within a week.
