Product validation and qualification experience is strongly desirable. Will be part of the quality and reliability team to productize innovative user interfaces sensors. The responsibility includes developing and monitoring of quality control system in OEM sites, supervising product reliability validation, and communicating reliability information with vendors and customers. In addition this person will be responsible for: Preparing concise and detailed test plans and test reports; Development of new quality and reliability procedures and specifications; Statistical data analysis to provide risk assessments of the product; Supervising FA activities to determine possible failure modes; Prioritizing and completing tasks to meet deadlines. You will also closely with the other technical teams and business functions to explore potential solutions to improve reliability. Strong engineering and team work skills are essential. Requirements: Skills/Experience •5+ years of related hands-on industrial experience in consumer mobile devices; •5+ years interfacing with manufacturing partners in sensor manufacturing; •Solid knowledge of quality and reliability concepts, and extensive experience in reliability testing for Phone industry, including Environmental Testing, Mechanical Stress Tests, etc; •Understanding of general Failure Analysis analytical techniques (Optical Microscopy, X-Ray, SEM/EDS, FTIR, XPS, SAM, etc) to derive a root cause of failure; •Knowledge of industry test Standards; •Direct hand-on experience with setting up tests and using lab equipment; •Experience on technology disciplines including sensor device, display technologies, semiconductor process technologies, chip testing concepts and packaging technologies; •Exceptional experience in developing user interface products a plus; Additional Skills/Experience: -Strong, independent and efficient team player; -Excellent communication skills. Education Requirements Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related field. MS or PHD preferred.
