Leadand participate in defining the specifications, capturing the schematics,following up and managing the PCB layout by subcontractors, following up andmanaging the prototype manufacturing and validation, for the ARM MCU/eMPUboards, including the evaluation kits, demo boards, validation/characterizationboards, reference designs, etc. 2. Leadand participate in developing the board acceptance test plans, developing testsoftware and low-level drivers to validate the board functionality andperformance, and developing production test program for manufacturing. 3. Leadand participate in industrializing the evaluation kits, demo boards, referencedesigns, etc through working together with the subcontractors, and managingacceptance processes of production batches, including CE/FCC certification,either for small quantities or high volume. Interface with the Atmel Store logistics team. 4. Managethe kits and boards project management, including project scheduling, resourceplanning, design review, problem solving, etc. 5. Communicateand collaborate with the Kits and Boards Team in France for defining the tasksand objectives, reporting achievements, and solving issues. 6. Developprofessional technical documentations for internal usage and for customers,including application note, user guide, etc. 7. Participatein and lead the customer (internal and external) support, in the context ofkits and boards hardware, including design reviews on signal integrity, powerintegrity, timing, EMI/EMC, ESD, etc. 8. Assistthe management team in managing/developing the team competencies; and inrecruiting, training and coaching. Assist in managing/evolving the workflow. 9. Supervisea group of Kits and Boards (Sr.) Engineers. Key skills & knowledge: 1. Musthave solid experience in embedded hardware and firmware designs based on the ARM MCU/eMPU, including system definition,hardware specification, schematics capture, PCB layout, test code development,prototype validation, etc. Must haveexperience in high speed and mixed signal designs, knowledge of signalintegrity, EMI/EMC, ESD, etc. 2. Mustbe proficient in ORCAD Capture CIS and Allegro PCB, and/or Altium for hardwaredesign. Must be proficient in AllegroSI Board or HyperLynx, and Allegro AMS for hardware simulations. 3. Musthave clear and profound understanding of the digital electronics fundamentals,including computer architecture and programmable logic design. Must have clear and profound understanding ofthe analog design fundamentals, including tests and measurements, transistors,operational amplifiers and power supply systems. 4. Musthave solid experience in embedded hardware development project management. Musthave experience in interfacing with PCB layout subcontractors and boardmanufacturers. 5. Musthave the ability to communicate effectively with multi-levels of internal andexternal interfaces. 6. Mustbe a self-starter with the ability to proactively propose technically competentsolutions; must be result-oriented and have the skills to manage timeefficiently. 7. Preferredmulti-national company (MNC) working experience in semiconductor industry. 8. Preferredexperience of leading, coaching and mentoring other engineers. 9. English, fluent conversation, reading andwriting. 10. Minimum 8-year experience in embedded hardware and firmware development. 11. Bachelor above in Electronics Engineering or related major, Master abovepreferred.
