PURPOSE. Portfolio Domain Customised Solutions & Multimedia (PD CSMM) is a unit in the Regional Portfolio Management (RPM) department of the Region China and Northeast Asia (RCNA). Its primary function is to take solution ownership and provide solution management support, and execute system integration services, it also supporting the sales engagement (CU-Customer Unit & CE-Customer Engagement) and delivery (SDO- Service Delivery Organization) departments. The role of the position is to actively take solution ownership in region, provide solution life cycle management support and consolidate solution package for pre-sales activities. The portfolio manager should also in charge of work effort and cost estimation of Global Product Customization or Local Customer Adaptation. Tasks include management of requirements, analysis, lobbying, proposing, documenting and lifecycle management of the solutions. Solutions must be aligned with business objectives and goals. Sometimes, global/local third-party solutions may be used, in which case partner interaction will also be needed. 2. MAIN INTERFACES. · Customer Units in RCNA · Customer Engagement/CE in RCNA · Business Unit & Development Unit of different Solution Area cross Global · Local customization development teams · Other Portfolio Domains in RPM · Service Delivery and Operation/SDO in RCNA 3. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES. · Interfacing with global Business Unit/ Solution Area · Take solution ownership & LCM responsibility in region · Work with project team to define solution customization scope, work together with customization team to secure deliverables · Consolidate solution technical documentation package with project team, create knowledge sharing eco-system. · Drive solution competence build up across region · Oversee solution business readiness plan(technology, delivery, support) · Managing new feature request and provide solution impact analysis · Support local price model definition · Support region solution team for project technical & cost review · Provide solution support in customer project for pre-sales - Eg. Identify requirements, lobby customer and propose business appropriate solutions. Sometimes delivery support may be needed. · Be an active technical consultant with CU/CE/other PDs and third-parties to develop and drive winning BSS/OSS solutions to customer's requirements. · Prepare solution technical proposal, high level design & dimensioning · Actively seek and share knowledge throughout organisation for the uplifting of collective competitiveness. · Work with and provide indications to delivery organisation (SDO) for securing post-sale success. · Evaluate and formulate alternative cost-effective solutions and make appropriate business decisions to adopt such solutions. · Be respectful of processes in a sensible manner to ensure Speed with Quality. 4. AUTHORITIES. To comply with and follow the instructions and procedures in force in the Company and RPM. . 職位所需技能 QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY COMPETENCIES. · A bachelor or master degree preferably in computer science. Also considered are telecommunications or software-related discipline. · Preferably candidate should have pre-sales and/or solution integration/delivery background with good business sense. · At least 5 years experience in the field of telecommunications or IT business in related areas. Has overall and deep understanding of telecom business, particularly in the BSS and/or OSS area. · Excellent working knowledge of BSS and/or OSS/NMS systems. · Work experiences such as R&D product management or solution management in Multi-Nation-Company would be advantageous. · Good inter-personal skills with ability to listen and communicate in effective manners to colleagues and customers. · You should be willing travel at short notices. · Team player & highly motivated · Languages: Written and oral fluency in English.
